What should I do if an appliance continuously blows a fuse?
Over-sized fuses on a circuit is one of the biggest problems. The wire is made for a maximum size overcurrent (device such as a breaker or fuse) and with a fuse panel it is easy to install a larger fuse to prevent it from blowing.
What do you mean by blowing a fuse?
This can be frustrating and annoying. You don’t want to have replace the fuse or to reset your circuit breaker whenever you want to use an appliance. Nor do you want to deal with the fallout from losing power, such as having to reset clocks.
In addition, a blown fuse can be a sign that you have some real issues with the wiring in your house and may require the services of an electrician.
Some times an old light bulb can blow and trip the circuit breaker so be aware.
